in a time long long ago, in a galaxy far far away, ska was awesome.  awe-some.  another song of the day was all dialed up when it hit me, let’s bring back ska.  ok, that’s not going to happen.  i understand that.  we all do.  it’s just not realistic that ska will make a comeback.  if everything that’s old is new again, and the wheel of time has turned to folsky indie rock and experimental electronic sounds, we’re moving through the 60′s and 70′s.  ska should be back in 2030.  2035 tops.

in the meantime, the song of the day is morning sun by spring heeled jack (click below \/)

sure, the mighty mighty bosstones, less than jake, no doubt, and reel big fish might have gotten the lion‘s share of the press, but spring heeled jack developed a well-deserved devoted following too.  join the crowd almost 20 years later.  is that crazy or what, 20 years!!
