dawes put together today’s song of the day, love is all i am (lyrics – tabs). another pleasant indie americana band reminding everyone of simpler times. album singles are always poppy and pleasant, but rarely excellent.
i think my favorite part of the video is that it starts with blue fuzz and says “play hi fi.” it’s the little things… easy to love everything about it… but little kid, put that cigarette down! seriously – not cool.

Happens to the best of us. All of those artists are fantastic, I’ll be sure to check out their collaborative work. Hopefully I like it more than the Monsters of Folk album, which was a bit of a letdown. I’m taking your word for it…
