for a top to bottom powerpop album, 37 everywhere is a great choice. for a song of the day, how about how could you (lyrics) by punchline.
off this album, there are a number of standouts. the myspace link has both the fake, the snake, and the birthday cake as well as caller 10. both good. the getaway and green light are the obligatory lighter numbers, and flashlight is a nice way to round out the album. for a good band that puts out consistent music that’s poppy, punky, and a little angsty (a la a new found glory), check these dudes out – they’ve been at it for awhile and have perfected the formula. for sure, the first time you hear how could you, you’ll enjoy it, but thereafter as soon as you hear the first chords, you’ll be on bated breath to yell “how could you do this to me – wa oh oh!”
