so what makes the woodlands worth a sliver of your workday… 3:47 and/or 5:19 minutes of your life… well, 1, you won’t be disappointed cause i say so. 2, there is something about husband-wife folk teams that can just produce magic. take the weepies for example. 3, there is an artistic quality to their songwriting which is enjoyable. 4, they seem like really nice people. 5, it doesn’t get much more indie then making an album in a home studio. 6, as it turns out, places like filter and indiefeed and under the radar think they’re not bad. they’re not quite as fashionable as sushi yet, but they’ve definitely hit pho level.
